Assembly: Street light at corner of Hall St and Crear St, in front of the Lyneham IGA.
Parking: The Lyneham Shops are very busy at 6 pm. Please park towards the SE end of Hall St, away from most of the shops. There are some car parks in front of the Lyneham Primary School on Brigalow St, deserted at this hour. At a stretch, there is parking at the sports ovals on Brigalow St.
Facilities: Toilets, a range of shops.
Everyone is welcome. Course A: visit any 18 out of 20 controls. Course B: visit any 15 out of 20 controls. Course C: visit any 12 out of 20 controls. Couse D: visit any 8 out of 20 controls. Power walker: visit as many controls as possible in 60 minutes. Distance of courses ranges from about 3km up to 8km.
Just turn up – no need to book ahead or notify anyone beforehand. Registration opens: 5.40pm. Briefing and map handout : 6.10pm Mass start: 6.15pm. Finish by 7.15pm.
Cost: $5 adult, $2 child, maximum $10 a family. Can participate individually or in small friendship or family groups (teams).
NOTE: Head lamp or torch and watch required.
