Season Pass Registration - Event Notes
Enter-on-the-day. Start anytime between 5pm & 6.30pm. Course closure 7.00pm.
Entry fees: member adult $10, member junior (under 21) $7, member family $27. Non-member junior $10, and non-member adult $15, non-member family $40. Hire of sportident card $5.
ASSEMBLY AREA Directions: Follow Northcott Dr north off Fairbairn Ave, turn right at office block and continue to far northern end of carpark.
WARNING! UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE The ACT Parks and Conservation Service has asked us to warn all participants of the possibility of unexploded ordnance (UXO) in the Mount Ainslie – Campbell Park area as a result of past military training. Please read the pamphlet on the matter. If you would like a copy of this, please ask at registration. The most important message is: If you see a suspicious-looking object, DO NOT TOUCH IT Note its location and report it to the Police, either personally or through the event organiser, whom you should inform in any case. Parents and teachers: Please ensure that any children in your care are aware of the above advice.
COURSES: Red, Orange 1, Orange 2, Green, Blue.
SPECIAL NOTICE: In addition to the usual blue, green, orange 1 and orange 2 there will be a red (hard) course. This is about 6.3 km long and involves a stimulating long leg with a challenging route choice and a second long leg. The orange 1 will also have one relatively long leg. Both the red and orange 1 courses will be blind starts. The usual easy courses will also be available
Because it is early in the season and the sun sets at 7.30 pm You can start anytime from 5 pm to 6.30 pm but COURSES CLOSE AT 7 PM to allow volunteers time for control collection before it gets dark. People doing the red course will need to start by about 6 pm.
