COVID-19 EVENT ENTRY POLICY
Anyone entering an OACT event MUST comply with the current Covid-19 health advice in both their home state and the ACT, as at 24 hours prior to the event. Note that while travelling, it is your responsibility to maintain physical distancing and practice good hygiene. Refunds of entry fees will be considered for anyone who is unable to attend the event due to Covid-19 restrictions. Information on travel to and from the ACT can be found here: https://www.covid19.act.gov.au/community/travel
The ACT mid-week series comprises low-key orienteering events held each Wednesday lunchtime mostly in Canberra Nature Parks. Everyone is welcome, just turn up, no requirement to book or notify anyone before the event.
Courses are about 3km and 5km in length of moderate navigation difficulty. During school holidays we will also have an easy navigation course. NOTE to Schools and groups: Please advise beforehand so we can ensure we have enough maps.
Start anytime between 12 noon and 1pm. You must return by 2pm.
ASSEMBLY: Junction of Blizzard Cct. and Spillett St., Forde.
COURSES: Moderate 1 (5.5km), Moderate 2 (3.8km).
ENTRIES Two entry options are available to entrants without a season pass:
1. Pre-entry to individual events, via Eventor.
2. Enter on the day at the event, adults $10, juniors $7. Cash only, exact change required.
