COVID-19 EVENT ENTRY POLICY
Anyone entering an OACT event MUST comply with the current Covid-19 health advice in both their home state and the ACT, as at 24 hours prior to the event. Note that while travelling, it is your responsibility to maintain physical distancing and practice good hygiene. Refunds of entry fees will be considered for anyone who is unable to attend the event due to Covid-19 restrictions. Information on travel to and from the ACT can be found here: https://www.covid19.act.gov.au/community/travel
ASSEMBLY AREA:
Parking is on Hake St, Kambah. Please park on the north and western sides of Hake St to minimise disruption to residents.
COURSES:
There is a 900m walk to the start. The walk to the start crosses a horse paddock. Please cross slowly and stay away from any horses or ponies that may be present.
Very Easy (1.4k), Easy (2km), Moderate 2 (3.2km), Moderate 1 (5.2km). Both moderate courses include some steep and rocky terrain. Ankle protection could be considered.
Season holders who wish to change their course/class can do so by visiting their respective season pass Eventor page prior to any event.
ENTRIES:
Newcomers who have not orienteered previously may enter on the day at the event. ALL OTHERS PRE-ENTRY ONLY - either by purchasing a season pass or entry to individual events via eventor.
As a COVID-19 preventative measure each Metro Series event has been split into two events, held at the same location, on the same day. Event A (this event) has start time window 9.30am – 10.45am; Event B has start time 11.00am – 12.15pm. Course closure 1pm.
Enter this event to participate in Event A.
Season Passes are also available with entry to every A or B event in the Metro Series.
