September Season Pass Registration - Event Notes
COVID-19 EVENT ENTRY POLICY
Anyone entering an OACT event MUST comply with the current Covid-19 health advice in both their home state and the ACT, as at 24 hours prior to the event. Note that while travelling, it is your responsibility to maintain physical distancing and practice good hygiene. Refunds of entry fees will be considered for anyone who is unable to attend the event due to Covid-19 restrictions. Information on travel to and from the ACT can be found here: https://www.covid19.act.gov.au/community/travel
ASSEMBLY: Western end of Downer Village Shopping Centre, Frencham Place, Downer.
PARKING: Please park in Bonython or Frencham Streets. Do not fill up the shopping centre car parking spaces.
TOILETS: There may be toilets open on Downer oval; otherwise the nearest public toilets are at Dickson Shopping Centre in Cowper Street.
ENTRIES: Three entry options are available:
1. Season Pass covering all four night events in September. $12 adults, juniors free. Available via Eventor here: https://eventor.orienteering.asn.au/Events/Show/10520
2. Pre-entry to individual events. $5 adults, juniors free. Enter via each event's Eventor page.
3. Enter on the day at the event. $5 adults, juniors free. Exact change cash only. Pre-entry is preferred.
STARTS: Start at any time between 5:40pm and 6:15pm.
COURSES: Time limit of one hour for each course. Course A: any 18 of 20 controls. Course B: any 15 of 20 controls. Course C: any 12 of 20 controls. Course D: any 8 of 20 controls. Power walk: visit as many controls as possible in one hour. Distance of courses ranges from about 3km up to 8km.
NOTE: Night event - head lamp or torch required.
