The assembly area is on the north-east side of Butters Drive, Phillip, near the Barnet Close intersection, 200m-250m walk south from the Yamba Drive car park. Beginner course (approx. 1.0km).
Note: Some events may have more than 30 controls. If you have an SI Stick that can't hold more than 30 punches (eg. SICard5 and SICard8), then you will not get all your splits recorded. http://act.orienteering.asn.au/resources/si-sticks/
MAPPER'S NOTES:
A complex urban area with numerous alleyways, paths, stairs, culs de sac, and small sections of open parkland.
Courses will include route choices on public roads, there will be very little traffic on Sunday morning but be careful, particularly when passing intersections and driveways. In addition, particpants are likely to encounter residents and other members of the public in the area. This might slow you down on some narrow paths, stairways, and passages - be courteous.
