ASSEMBLY AREA:

Stromlo Forest Park western car park, through the gate off Uriarra Road.

Proceed west on Uriarra Road. 1.7km from the Coaldrake Rd / Uriarra Rd roundabout turn left into the Stromlo Forest Park western carpark area. Park as directed. Uriarra Road is busy, narrow and cars travel at high speed. Please take caution when exiting the carpark and turning right onto Uriarra Rd.

There is a 1.5km walk along a fire trail from the parking to the start, allow 15 to 20 minutes.

COURSES (length, climb):

Moderate 1 (5.4km, 135m), Moderate 2 (3.5km, 85m), Easy (2.5km, 50m), Very Easy (1.9km, 30m).

COURSE SETTER'S NOTES:

There is a 15 to 20 minute walk to the start from the assembly area (1.5km). -- The moderate courses are mainly in Yellow Box–Blakely's Red Gum Grassy Woodland, which makes for pleasant running. There are plenty of animal tracks and two wombats were spotted near their burrows at creek lines.

The very easy has a taped section from 3 to 4 as the road is easy to miss.

Where there are blackberry thickets, they are rarely marked on the map. Be careful around broken fences as some of the broken wires on the ground can be hard to see.

STARTS:

Between 10:30 and 12:00.

There is a 1.5km walk along a fire trail from the parking to the start, allow 15 to 20 minutes.

COURSE CLOSURE:

Courses close at 13:00. You MUST report to the finish by 13:00, whether you have finished your course or not.

LIVE RESULTS:

Available online (https://liveresultat.orientering.se/?lang=en), or via the LiveOL app for iOS and Android.
