Sprint Series Season Pass Course Setter's Notes - Event Notes
COVID-19 EVENT ENTRY POLICY
Anyone entering an OACT event MUST comply with the current Covid-19 health advice in both their home state and the ACT, as at 24 hours prior to the event. Note that while travelling, it is your responsibility to maintain physical distancing and practice good hygiene. Refunds of entry fees will be considered for anyone who is unable to attend the event due to Covid-19 restrictions. Information on travel to and from the ACT can be found here: https://www.covid19.act.gov.au/travel
ENTRIES
Online entry only - either by purchasing a season pass or entry to individual events via eventor. The following entry options are available:
1.The Season Pass provides excellent value, with all 7 Twilight Series events for only $35 (adults) or $25 (juniors). Must be a paid club member and have your own SI stick. Register via Eventor: https://eventor.orienteering.asn.au/Events/Show/16496
2. Pre-entry to individual event via Eventor. Member adults $10, member juniors $7, non-member adults $15, non-member juniors $10, plus $5 SI stick hire. Entries close 5pm 27 November.
ASSEMBLY AREA:
The assembly are is inside the Gossan Hill Nature Reserve, south of College St, west of Radford College. Follow the signs from College St. It is 100m from the car parking.
PARKING:
Parking is in the "Park & Ride" area at University of Canberra, west of the College St and Kirinari St intersection. Parking is free on Sunday. "Park and Ride" only applies on weekdays. Please be careful crossing College St.
COURSES:
Single sprint course (2.8km, 80m climb). See the Course Setter's Notes for details.
Note: Some events may have more than 30 controls. If you have an SI Stick that can't hold more than 30 punches (eg. SICard5 and SICard8), then you will not get all your splits recorded. http://act.orienteering.asn.au/resources/si-sticks/
STARTS:
Between 9.00am and 9.30am.
COURSE CLOSURE:
Courses close at 10.00am.
