Where Do Entry Fees Go?
Entry fees cover both the direct costs of running events and Orienteering ACT’s ongoing expenses.
Event costs include things like levies, insurance, printing, mapping, travel, venue hire, toilets, first aid, and prizes, with championships and larger carnivals requiring additional services. Entry fees also help fund OACT’s operations such as staff, office rent, insurance, and equipment. While some income comes from memberships, school programmes, and fundraising, most fixed costs rely on event fees.

Major ACT & National Events
Entry fees will be advertised along with the event information on the Events page.
