The OACT Board is calling for nominations from any interested ACT Juniors who are eligible for selection in the 2023 ACT ASOC team, to compete in the Australian Schools Orienteering Championships, held in conjunction with the Australian Orienteering Championships, in Western Australia from 30 September to 8 October 2023.
A series of selection trials will be held within the May-July period. Further details of eligibility criteria, team selection commitments, and other relevant information is available in the ACT ASOC trials information document.

- ACT Classic Series: Jim Sawkins Memorial Handicap, ACT League #2, Glendale, Sunday 4 June
- ACT Sprint Distance Championships: ACT League #3, Location Canberra Girls Grammar School, Sunday 25 June
- ACT Classic Series: ACT League #4, Ballinafad Creek, Sunday 16 July
- ACT Metro Series: Junior League #10, Location West Stromlo North, Saturday 22 July

Your nomination must include the nominee’s name, parent/guardian name and contacts, including email and phone, age (and date of birth), and expected competition class. In 2023 the classes being contested are: Senior Boys/Girls – aged 19 and under at the end of 2023; Junior Boys/Girls – aged 15 and under at the end of 2023. Team members must be at least 12 years of age as at the end of 2023.
Nominations should be submitted by Thursday 25 May. However, late nominations may still be accepted after this date.
