Five events down and three to go in the 2019 Oceania-Australian Orienteering Championships, and those events will be important in determining the results of many related competitions, starting with the Australian Schools Orienteering Championships, which will be decided on Thursday. The others include the AUS-NZL Challenge, the Bushrangers-Pinestars Test matches, and the National Orienteering League Individual and team divisions.

- Thursday 3 October: Australian Schools Relay Championships, and Riverina Run # 3 Pomingalarna Reserve.
- Saturday 5 October: Oceania Long Distance Championships at Kangaroo Crossing, near El Dorado. (followed by the dinner at Beechworth Goal)
- Sunday 6 October: Oceania Middle Distance Championships at Racecourse Creek, near Beechworth.
