Five Down and Three To Go

Five events down and three to go in the 2019 Oceania-Australian Orienteering Championships, and those events will be important in determining the results of many related competitions, starting with the Australian Schools Orienteering Championships, which will be decided on Thursday.  The others include the AUS-NZL Challenge, the Bushrangers-Pinestars Test matches, and the National Orienteering League Individual and team divisions.

A quick wrap of the events thus far is:

  • Saturday 28 September: Oceania Sprint Distance Championships at Charles Sturt University. Results here; ACT only results here.
  • Sunday 29 September: Australian Long Distance Championships at Split Rock, near Cootamundra.  Results here; ACT only results here.
  • Monday 30 September: Oceania Relay Championships at Split Rock, near Cootamundra.  Results here.
  • Tuesday 1 October: Australian Schools Sprint Distance Championships, and Riverina Run#1 at Kildare College.  Schools results here; RR # 1 results here.
  • Wednesday 2 October: Australian Schools Long Distance Championships, and Riverina Run#2 Connorton.  Schools results here; RR # 2 results here.
