Membership Application Process

Membership applications and renewals are processed by Eventor, the Orienteering Australia website that handles all our membership, events and results. A guide for how to register and join as a club or casual member is available here: Eventor Membership Guide. For help, please contact the office or talk to someone at the registration desk at events.

When you become a member, you need to choose a club to belong to. See Clubs for more information.

Casual Memberships

When joining through Eventor you are given the choice of joining as a full member of Orienteering ACT and an affiliated club, or joining as a casual member of Orienteering ACT only.

If you elect to join as a casual you will join the ‘Casuals ACT’ group. Casual membership is free and will enable you to pre-enter events through eventor. However, casual members cannot join a club and do not receive any of the member benefits listed above. Casual members do not receive discounted entry fees and cannot register for event series season passes.

Refer to this guide for steps on how to convert an existing casual membership into a full club membership.
