Skills & Equipment - Orienteering ACT

Orienteering is a navigation sport where you visit checkpoints using a map and compass. You decide on your own route to get around the course, as long as you visit each checkpoint in order.

Orienteering is a sport where beginners and elites can be active side by side, and all ages are represented. You are never too old or too young for orienteering!

Permanent courses are free beginner-level orienteering courses that can be done anytime! Great for families, school groups, scout patrols, and anyone else that wants to give orienteering a try!
