Season Pass Registration - Event Notes
Enter-on-the-day. Start anytime between 5pm & 6.30pm. Course closure 7.30pm.
Entry fees: member adult $10, member junior (under 21) $7, member family $27. Non-member junior $10, and non-member adult $15, non-member family $40. Hire of sportident card $5. Cash payment accepted but EFTPOS preferred.
ASSEMBLY AREA: Bindubi St, Aranda.
COURSES: Orange 1, Orange 2, Brown (between green and orange), Green, Blue.
COURSE SETTER'S NOTES: Many of the features displayed on the map have vanished in real life likewise some features in real life are missing from the map. These features mainly include pits, termite mounds, vegetation and minor tracks. The blue course is unusually challenging at this event. It is recommended that people running the blue course take care with their map reading especially at junctions and crossings. A brown course is also on offer this week. A brown course is a course between green and orange level difficulty and length. It is for people who are trying to transition to orange but are not quite ready yet. The blue, green and brown courses are on a 1:7,500 map. This is a different scale that usual at bush events to ease fine map reading. Orange 1 and 2 will remain on a 1:10,000 map.
