Learn to Orienteer – Starts 16 October

Want to Learn to Orienteer?

Join our “Learn to Orienteer” program in term 4.
It’s for anyone who wants to learn to orienteer – all ages are welcome.

There will be seven one-hour sessions, held once a week. Lessons are conducted in small groups. We will focus on different skills and give participants plenty of opportunities to have fun exploring techniques to build confidence in using a map to navigate.

  • When: Wednesdays 4:30 – 5:30pm, starting on 16 October 2024 for 7 weeks.
  • Where: First two sessions in Weston Park, then five more co-located with Orienteering ACT’s Twilight series (Oct-March).
  • Cost: Junior (u20) $119* Adult $159. Includes membership for 2024-25 and a season pass for Twilight Series 2024-25 (own SI-stick required after end of program).

*Each participant under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian present for the session, and we encourage parents/carers’ to participate. The activities will be designed so that parents/guardians can join in as well, learn to orienteer and have fun with us.
