Consistent results in each of the three ACT League races held in and around Wagga Wagga over the Queen’s Birthday weekend has given Grant Bluett a clear lead at the halfway point of the 2022 League. He won the first race, on corrected km rate by 29 seconds from Grace Crane, but Crane turned the tables on Bluett in the second race to win by 17 seconds on corrected km rate. The evergreen Jenny Bourne took out the third race by 11 seconds from Shannon Jones, who was just 3.5 seconds faster than Bluett.
Bluett has amassed 549 points from his four best scores, from a possible 552 points. Crane is second on 541. Bourne is not in contention yet, as she has not run four events, but with up to seven more events to go, she could enter calculations.
