Due to a very unfavorable and unsafe forecast of wet weather and very strong winds for Sunday, the ACT & NSW Ski-Orienteering Championships have been moved to Saturday 8th August. To accommodate as many as possible Ski-Oers, START WINDOW is extended to 9AM – 1PM, means you can start from the Nordic Shelter any time in that window (which allows many who travels from NSW / or plans for a day at downhill slope – to enjoy both). Day entries will be available from 9am until 1pm.
We bring very sincere apologies to everyone who planned their trip for Sunday only or had different plans for Saturday.
This decision is not ideal, but should benefit the majority of participants more than canceling the event entirely.
We really hope you still will be able to make it to the event on Saturday and enjoy the only Ski-O event in Australia in safe and enjoyable weather conditions:)!
