Course Setter’s Notes

The map has had significant updates with many new termite mounds added, and others removed. Some old tracks in the SE section of the map have been removed or downgraded, along with several along otherwise distinct clearings traversing the main ridge. Tracks that are marked as indistinct may be hard to see when running across but are generally followable when running along them.

Control circles should be reliable but there is likely to be changes to termite mounds and distinct trees in sections of the map not visited by the course setters based on changes elsewhere.

There will be two water controls accessible to all the Hard and Moderate courses a bit over halfway around the respective courses.

There is a large tree across the track on the Very Easy course. The route of the track will be marked with tapes.

Walk to the start is about 500m west from the assembly area. Parking is along the private road adjacent to the map and may add another 500m to your walk. The assembly area is approximately 200m to the east of the entry gate where the road turns to the east.
