The Orienteering ACT MTBO Team is thrilled to invite you to the 2024 Australian MTBO Carnival and Championships, which will take place from 17 to 20 October in Canberra, in the rich and beautiful lands of the Ngunnawal People.
The Australian MTBO Carnival in Canberra aims to be a vibrant celebration of Mountain Bike Orienteering and to provide a terrific opportunity for everyone in the ACT to try Mountain Bike Orienteering for the first time!
MTBO Carnival and Championships will be Family, Kid and Beginner friendly, with MTBO Carnival classes designed for beginners, families, and social riding.

The experienced ACT MTBO Team is working hard to make the Carnival an exciting and memorable event!
2024 Australian MTBO Carnival and Championships 17-20 October:
- will feature 5 diverse terrains;
- will provide 5 top-quality maps and events;
- aims to be the largest ever Australian MTBO Carnival;
- will host 2024 Australia-New Zealand MTBO Challenge; 2024 National MTBO Series Round IV and 2025 World Masters MTBO Series, Round 1;
- will aim to provide winners and placegetters with the medals, certificates and prizes;
- will include a Presentation Dinner Night;
- will be Family, Kid and Beginner friendly with friendly CARNIVAL classes!
- will have a significant fee discount for kids/teenagers under 20 and for masters 75 years old and above.
- will allow the use of NSW MTBO Champs 12-13 October 2024 as an excellent training opportunity and MTBO experience.
Entries will open on Eventor on January 1, 2024
Lock in the dates of 17-20 October 2024 and start MTBO Training :)!
