Middle Distance, 19 August
Saturday’s Middle Distance will be held at Collector Hill.
The main course area is open native forest spur gully terrain, including a distinct granite ridge. The northern part of the map has a mixture of open land and woodland. The forest is generally runnable, but many areas have fallen timber which will make progress slower.

Long Distance, 20 August
Saturday’s Long Distance will be held at Foxlow Flats.
The terrain is classic canberra spur gully with small areas of rock and erosion detail. The contour detail ranges from large distinctive spurs and gullies to flatter areas with small shallow gullies that start and stop. The forest is mostly fast running open eucalypt forest but there are some patches of thicker scrub mostly around the bigger gullies, this impacts route choice and visibility. There are very few tracks and fences on the map
