Martin Dent, a previous winner in 2019 and 2021, was fastest on corrected time at Campbell Park on Wednesday and leads the 2022-23 Runners Shop Twilight Series after three races.
Course planner, David Poland, provided a third Moderate course to enable those who wished to avoid climb and some of the long grass and boggy conditions which all competitors had to endure to a greater or lesser extent.

Moderate 3: 2.7 km: 6 controls: Men: 1 Joshua Mansell 21:56, 2. Zaf Bluett-Jones 37:42, 3. Ben Mansell 38:10; Women: 1. Katy Hogg 37:08, 2. Katie Liesinger 41:21, 3. Mira Walter 47:11.

After the handicap factors were applied Martin Dent was fastest with a corrected kilometre rate of 5 min 30.95 sec, about 14 seconds faster than Shannon Jones, with around three seconds to Matt Doyle and Paul de Jongh who were separated by only a second when they crossed the finish line.
