After three races with surprise winners, the top placings in race four of 2021-22 Runners Shop Twilight Series, held on the northern slopes of Mt Ainslie, were filled by the regular placegetters.
The across the line results for the two Moderate courses were:
- Moderate 1: 5.5 km: 190m climb: 19 controls: Men: 1. Matthew Crane 34 min 09 sec; 2. Martin Dent 35 min 43 sec, 3. Paul de Jongh 37 min 22 sec; Women: 1. Grace Crane 43 min 33 sec, 2. Shannon Jones 44 min 07 sec, 3. Kathie Dent 62 min 44 sec.
- Moderate 2: 3.3 km: 20 controls: 85 m climb: Men: 1. Joshua Mansell 36 min 45 sec, 2. Ken Mansell 37 min 09 sec, 3. Max Walter 37 min 10 sec; Women: 1. Cath Chalmers 30 min 42 sec, 2. Marilla Cavenagh 33 min 06 sec, Toni Brown 33 min 29 sec.

The current standings are here. Although he is a four-times ACT Orienteer of the Year, Crane has never won the Twilight Series, but he is currently well-placed to claim a Series win in March.
