Ryan Stocks is the early leader in the 2020-21 Runners Shop Twilight Series after scoring a narrow win in Wednesday’s event # 1 at Stirling Park. He covered the 2,600 metres of the Moderate 1 in exactly 12 minutes. After his handicap factor of 0.97 had been applied his corrected kilometre rate was 4 min 28.6 sec, 2.7 seconds faster than next best Shannon Jones who had completed the Hard 1 course in 15 min 48 sec. Eric Morris, with an actual time of 14 min 29 sec for the Hard 1 course, was six seconds behind Jones on corrected time.
