It is less than three weeks until the third event of the 2020 ACT MTBO Series, on 6 September at East Stromlo, known widely as ‘Green Hills’.
This is a fast and hilly area with a dense fire road network, through beautiful plantation pines, adjacent to the Arboretum.
The courses will take riders over loose gravel, soft sand, ragged rocks, prickly blackberries, and eroded ruts. Along the way they might encounter bounding kangaroos, swooping magpies, spiky echidnas, dog-walkers, random runners, commuter cyclists, and perhaps horses, which of course, they should give way to.
ACT MTBO is kids, beginners and family-friendly, so four courses from the Novice to Elite level will be offered.
Start between 10am and 11.30am. Course Closure 1.30pm
