ACT Schools just love our orienteering programs!
By just the second week of term Orienteering ACT has already kick-started outreach to four schools. These were Trinity Christian School, Holy Family Primary School, Canberra Islamic School, and Bonython Primary. This resulted in over 200 Canberra kids being given a taste of the thought sport. As always teachers were keenly on hand, listening and learning about the benefits of outdoor, mentally engaging sport.
Fryde and Maria, our ACT Coaches in Residence, took to the teaching like ducks to water.
The pictures here from the Islamic School of Canberra demonstrate the quality instruction, alongside caring support, as young navigators learn the ropes.
