Junior league scores after round 11 at Wanniassa Hills

The 2018 ACT Junior League scores have been updated after the 11th round of the Metro league at Wanniassa Hills.  The results can be found here Results 11 2018

The final scores are the best 10 results across the competition.  Four competitors have completed all 11 events and so have had their lowest score eliminated while a further 14 have completed 10 events and are now searching for improvements to throw out their lowest scores.  Six events need to be completed by a competitor to qualify to be included in the final scores.

Competition is particularly tight in some of the lower men’s age groups.  Ross Wilkinson leads the M10 class but four other competitors are less than 10 points behind.  Connor Lineen leads by just 5 points in the M12 with Will Madl holding an even smaller four point gap in the M14.  The Stocks brothers, Ryan and David, have comfortable leads in the M18 and M16 classes respectively.

The leads are currently a bit more comfortable in the women’s classes.  Zoe McCrae has a 12 point lead in the W10 while Ingrid Shelton Agar holds a 25 point lead in the W12, despite missing Saturday’s event.  Lauren Charles (W14), Ella Cuthbert (W16) and Miho Yamazaki (W18) all have more than 50 point leads in their respective classes and look difficult to beat with three rounds to go.
