Following some fantastic riding at the recent Australian MTBO Championships at Wingello, NSW, the ACT has produced 2 winners in the 2017 National MTBO Series.
And before you ask, yes, you can achieve this in one weekend if you win all the three events on offer. On a weekend where ACT riders numbered just a few over all classes offered, both Tristan Miller and Lachlan Young won their respective classes in all three disciplines, Sprint, Middle and Long Distance.
In so doing, they have been named the 2017 National MTBO Series winners in M20 and M14 respectively. Tristan’s win also put the ACT Cockatoos in first place in M20. Thanks also to Fedor, Andrew and Marina, the Cockatoos placed 4th in M21 and 5th in W21.
