Last week an end of 2019 catch up was held for OACT coaches and others helping to develop our next generation of orienteers. It was a great turn out with 13 people at our “dessert meeting”; people gave feedback on this years training and coaching activities, and we formed some ideas for next year.
A big thank you to everyone involved in coaching this year across our diverse program – including the ASOC schools and invitational camps, Blue Lightning, FOG, SC-ORE, Map Mates, Cockatoos, Blue Sparks, and all the School coaching Programs. There remains lots of interest from the group to commit to coaching positions in 2020 – a formal call will go out through the OACT bulletin early next year.

Between Paul de Jongh in the office and Nic Plunkett-Cole we accredit coaches to level 0 and 1 and have been processing a few new coaches lately.
