Primary School Championships - Orienteering ACT

The OACT Primary School Championships are usually held in term 3, in conjunction with the OACT Secondary Schools Championships. There are no selection requirements, however it’s recommended that children have done two events before.

Once the date of the event is confirmed, it will be posted on the Events page.

2026 event is on Saturday 5 September

Orienteering Skills

Usually in November. Anyone can enter. There is no preselection. Individual or pairs. Beginners can enter if they have done 2 events before.
Primary School Champs

For all students in years 7-12. Combined with a Saturday Metro event.
Secondary School Champs

Orienteering ACT cares about the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
Child safety is everyone’s business.
