OA National Junior Camp 2026 The National Junior Camp is an opportunity to spend five days surrounded by other juniors who share a passion for orienteering. Thursday 17 December - Monday 21 December Pax Hill Scout Camp | Ballarat, VIC Open to juniors born 2006-2012 who regularly compete on hard courses. Come ready to train, learn, challenge yourself and have fun. Bush. Sprint. Night. Relay. ~ ADULT HELPERS A national camp relies on the support of coaches, volunteers and adult helpers. We are seeking expressions of interest from parents and other suitable adults who are interested in attending the camp and contributing to its delivery. This may include taking on a state coordinator role or helping more generally with participant supervision, transport, first aid, pastoral care or supporting the coaching team. If you are interested in joining the adult helper team, please register on Eventor and complete the form here: https://forms.gle/LVeoxLVc7s7YxUdx7 COST Junior participants: $500 The camp fee covers accommodation for four nights, meals during the camp, coaching, and camp activities and facilities. Travel to and from Ballarat is not included in the camp fee. Adult helpers will be invoiced at a later date once their attendance and accommodation arrangements have been confirmed. MOIRA WHITESIDE BEQUEST The 2026 National Junior Camp is supported by the Moira Whiteside Bequest. The Bequest provides funding to support participation through equity of access, including for participants who would otherwise find it difficult to attend the camp. Available support will be considered following the close of registrations, with further information provided to participants at that time.
