FREE ENTRY FOR VERY EASY COURSE
Entry to the Very Easy course (including entries made on the day and season passes) is free for member and non-member participants entering the Very Easy course.
ASSEMBLY AREA:
Kathner Street, Chapman.
COURSES (length, climb):
Moderate 1 (4.8km, 180m), Moderate 2 (3.0km, 140m), Easy (2.5km, 115m), Very Easy (2.1km, 85m).
Fences: There is one uncrossable fence marked on the map in thick purple. None of the courses would require anyone to try and cross this fence, (unless you have taken a very poor route choice). Some other fences could be difficult to cross in parts, but you don’t need to go too far up and down a fence to find loose wires to get through, a low point to climb over or a kangaroo crossing to squeeze under. Alternatively, you can use one of the many gates. The Moderate 2 and Easy courses provide for route options to use gates and you won’t lose time as the gates will be easier than looking for a fence crossing.
Start: 100m from the Assembly Area.
Finish: There is a 300m downhill walk from the Finish to the Assembly Area, to avoid the temptation for some people to run downhill on a steep gravelly track.
STARTS:
Between 5:00pm and 6:15pm.
The start is 100m from the Assembly Area.
COURSE CLOSURE:
Courses close at 7:00pm. You MUST report to the finish by 7:00pm, whether you have finished your course or not.
