EVENT INFORMATION - Event Notes
ENTRIES
The following entry options are available:
1. Season Pass. The season pass provides a 40% discount on the member entry fee to all 13 Metro Series events. Season pass registration and course changes close at 5pm on the Friday before each Metro Series event. Register via Eventor: https://eventor.orienteering.asn.au/Events/Show/23238
2. Pre-entry via Eventor. Member adult $17, member junior (under 21) $6, member family $40. Non-member junior $11, and non-member adult $27, non-member family $65. Hire of sportident stick $5. Entries close 9am on the Saturday morning of each Metro Series event.
3. Online entry on the day at the event. Member adult $17, member junior (under 21) $6. Non-member junior $11, and non-member adult $27. Hire of sportident stick $5. BYO smartphone to complete entry and payment at the event.
FREE ENTRY FOR VERY EASY COURSE
Entry to the Very Easy course (including entries made on the day and season passes) is free for member and non-member participants entering the Very Easy course.
ASSEMBLY AREA:
Townsend Place, Belconnen.
COURSES:
Due to the location of the event the courses have been set in SPRINT format.
Moderate 1 (2.8km), Moderate 2 (2.0km), Easy (1.3km), Very Easy (0.9km).

Whether you’re a seasoned orienteer or just keen to give it a go, there’s a course for you:
• Very Easy – perfect for beginners, kids and families, 0.9km • Easy – a gentle introduction with simple navigation, 1.3km • Moderate 1 (2.8km) & Moderate 2 (2km) – step up the challenge, including the maze feature
Set in the open parkland and lakeside surrounds of John Knight Park, this sprint-format event is all about speed and precision. Courses are shorter, controls come quickly, and every route choice counts.

STARTS:
Between 10:30am and 12:00pm.
COURSE CLOSURE:
Courses close at 1:00pm. Participants must report to the finish by 1:00pm, whether they have finished their course or not.
