COVID-19 ENTRY POLICY

When entering an OACT event please comply with the current ACT COVID-19 health advice and the OACT COVID-19 Policy: https://act.orienteering.asn.au/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/OACT-Covid-19-Policy.pdf

Refunds of entry fees will be considered for anyone who is unable to attend the event due to Covid-19 restrictions or illness.

STARTS:

5.30pm to 6.15pm on Monday, with assistance provided in the assembly area for first timers and for persons not using MapRun to self time and report their result. The MapRun course will be open from 10am on Saturday and participants can do their course any time from then until 6.15pm on Monday. The course map (in colour) will be available on Eventor for download. Persons who are unable to access MapRun on their phones can use an honesty system to self time their start and finish and visit the controls on their course then record their result.

ASSEMBLY:

Carpark at end of Collett Place, Pearce.

Facilities: Parking, shelter, lighting, nearest toilets at Chifley shops and Southland shopping centre at Mawson.

COURSES:

A+ - all 20 controls, A - 18 controls, B - 15 controls, C - 12 controls, D - 8 controls, walk - as many as you can visit within 1 hour.

COVID safe control visits: This is a MapRun event, with no control plates out. Use of the MapRun6 app is highly preferred, but there is the option to navigate and self time the course if needed. The MapRun event name is: "Pearce-Torrens OACT Apr 2022 SA".

All controls on light poles, headlamp or torch needed.

ENTRY:

For COVID safety, pre-entry using Eventor is required for all participants - either by purchasing a season pass or entry to individual events via eventor. The following entry options are available:

1. The Season Pass provides excellent value, with all 22 Winter Season Street Series events for only $55 for adults, or free for juniors under 20 (but must still register). Season pass holders who wish to change their course/class can do so by visiting the season pass page prior to any event. Register via Eventor: https://eventor.orienteering.asn.au/Events/Show/17270

2. Pre-entry to individual events via Eventor. $5 adult, free for juniors under 20 (but must still register), entries open until 12 noon Monday 11 April.
