Want to Learn to Orienteer?
Join our new program “Learn to Orienteer” run in terms 2 (May & June) and 4 (October & November). Learn to Orienteer is a national program and is aimed at anyone who wants to learn to orienteer. All ages are welcome – children, adults and parents.
We will have seven one-hour sessions, held once a week on Saturday mornings. Lessons are conducted in small groups. We focus on different skills and give participants plenty of opportunities to have fun exploring techniques to build confidence in using a map to navigate.
Next program will start in May, and registration will open end of March.
*Each participant under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian present for the session, and we encourage parents/carers’ to participate. The activities will be designed so that parents/guardians can join in as well, learn to orienteer and have fun with us.
** SI-stick is provided for use during the program
