Winners of three of the four most recent Runners Shop Twilight Series, Martin Dent (two) and Shannon Jones (one) are again in contention, as they are currently locked at the top of the standings after four races in the 2022-23 Series.
The across the line results for the Moderate courses at Stirling Park were:
- Moderate 1: 4.2 km: 27 controls: Men: 1. Paul de Jongh 20.01, 3 Martin Dent 20.18; Matt Doyle 20.17; Women: 1. Shannon Jones 25.02, 2. Elise Palethorpe 27.28, 3. Mary Fien 30.18.
- Moderate 2: 2.9 km: 16 controls: Men: 1. Dean Davies 21.52, 2. Ken Mansell 22.43, Ari Piiroinen 24.09; Women: 1. Kathie Dent 26.45, 2. Ella Hogg 27.49, 3. Silke Speier 28.12.

After the handicap factors were applied Shannon Jones with a corrected kilometre rate of 4 min 20.35 sec, about 3.5 seconds faster than last week’s winner Martin Dent, with around nine seconds to Hayden Dent. The top 10 corrected time were:

After a third each in the first two races, Dent won last week’s event at Campbell Park by 15 seconds per kilometre from Jones and on Wednesday at Stirling Park, Jones turned the tables on Dent to beat him by just 3.5 seconds per kilometre on corrected time. Although there are still 11 races to go, Jones and Dent are favoured to fight out the Series.
