- Do you enjoy orienteering?
- Do you enjoy courses that are challenging, yet fun and fair?
- Do you think some orienteering events could have had more interesting courses?
- Do you get frustrated with controls not being in the correct location?
If you answered yes to the above questions, then we need you.
Orienteering relies on controllers to ensure orienteering is fun, fair, and safe. They check the design of courses, control location, and mapping. And they are responsible for overseeing the organisation of events, in particular OACT’s safety requirements.
To make it happen, become a controller.
OACT is planning a controller’s workshop on Saturday 10 November 2018 at the OACT office, Jamison. OACT will cover the costs of the workshop and free lunch will be provided. The workshop will occupy a full day.
