Come and Coach or Be Coached
Get ready for the Winter season – hone up your map reading skills. Or learn how to coach with help from Freddo, Saara and David Poland. This workshop will teach coaches to coach and they will then deliver individual coaching sessions to beginners or moderate. We need people interested in coaching and people willing to be coached! This is a two part series. You can attend one or both. Attendance as a coach will count towards level 1 or 2 accreditation.
5pm - Coaches arrive. instruction session for coaches only. 5.30 - everyone else arrives for a one hour one on one coaching. A smorgasbord of techniques will be on offer depending on your level including aiming off, following lines, handrails , compass use, traffic lights, visualisation, relocation, corridor, control picking, contouring and map memory. 6.30 - Debrief session for coaches only. 7pm - Finish (BYO picnic dinner on the second week if you wish).
Cost: $5 (max $10 per family) (Coaches free). Pay on the day but please RSVP by doodle link so we can print enough maps and reading material.
