Season Pass Registration Introduction to Using MapRun Course Map Download - Event Notes
STARTS:
The MapRun course will be open from 6am on Thursday, participants can start their course any time from then until 6:15pm on Monday. The course map will be available on Eventor for download. Persons who are unable to access MapRun on their phones can use an honesty system to self time their course then email their result to John Harding () by 7:30pm on Monday.
An organising team will be at the assembly area from 5pm to 7.15pm on Monday, with start times from 5pm to 6.15pm. Assistance in using MapRun on smartphones and smartwatches will be provided. A limited supply of printed maps will be available and a self start recording sheet, with self timing for those not using MapRun.
ASSEMBLY:
Nominal start/finish at path junction near Stranger Pond BBQ Shelter, Don Dunstan Drive (near intersection with Stella Hume St), Bonython.
Facilities: Parking, shelter. Nearest toilets at Tuggeranong town centre and Pine Island reserve.
COURSES:
A+ - all 20 controls, A - 18 controls, B - 15 controls, C - 12 controls, D - 8 controls, walk - as many as you can visit within 1 hour.
This is a longer than normal course, with the A+ course approx. 13km. Please start early enough each day to finish by 7pm so as not to finish in darkness.
You can start/finish at any control. For alternative starts, parking is available near controls 1, 5, 12 & 17.
This is a MapRun event, with no control plates out. Use of the MapRun6 app is highly preferred, but there is the option to navigate and self time the course if needed. The MapRun event name is: "Tuggeranong Ponds OACT Mar 2023 SA".

ENTRY: Pre-entry on Eventor via the season pass or individual event entry is strongly recommended.
