Choosing Your Course at ACT League Events Course Setter's Notes - Event Notes
SEE COURSE SETTER'S NOTES FOR DETAILS AND DIRECTIONS
ENTRIES:
Pre-entry only. Entries close 11:59pm Wednesday 26 July.
No late entries or entry on the day.
COURSES:
Hard 1 (9.3km), Hard 2 (7.9km), Hard 3 (5.8km), Hard 4 (4.2km), Hard 5 (1.9km), Moderate 1 (3.4km), Moderate 2 (3.0km), Easy (2.4km), Very Easy (1.5km).
Scale for courses Hard 1-4 is 1:10000, all other courses 1:7500.
STARTS:
Between 10am and 12pm. Please note the earlier than usual course closure time of 1pm, participants are urged to start before 11:30am to ensure that they can complete their course in time.
The Blue Start is for Very Easy, Easy, and Hard 5 (H5). It is a 600 metre (approx.10 min) walk with minimal climb (15 m) from the assembly area.
The Red Start is for Hard 1 to 4 and both Moderate courses. It is a 1km (approx. 25-30 min) walk with 100 m climb.
COURSE CLOSURE:
Courses close at 1pm. You must report to the finish by 1pm, whether you have finished your course or not.
