COVID-19 ENTRY POLICY
When entering an OACT event please comply with the current ACT COVID-19 health advice and the OACT COVID-19 Policy: https://act.orienteering.asn.au/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/OACT-Covid-19-Policy.pdf
Refunds of entry fees will be considered for anyone who is unable to attend the event due to Covid-19 restrictions or illness.
STARTS:
The MapRun course will be open from 6am on Thursday, participants can start their course any time from then until 6:15pm on Monday. The course map (in colour) will be available on Eventor for download. Persons who are unable to access MapRun on their phones can use an honesty system to self time their course then email their result to John Harding () by 7:30pm on Monday.
An organising team will be at the assembly area from 5pm to 7.15pm on Monday, with start times from 5pm to 6.15pm. Assistance in using MapRun on smartphones and smartwatches will be provided. A limited supply of printed maps will be available and a self start recording sheet, with self timing for those not using MapRun.
ASSEMBLY:
Picnic shelter, northern end of Forde Heritage Park, junction of Francis Forde Blvd and Zakharov Avenue. Parking available in both Zakharov Ave and car park off Francis Forde Blvd.
Start/finish at bicycle rack 10 metres north of the Shelter.
Facilities: Parking, shelter, toilets, coffee shop and other shops.
COURSES:
A+ - all 20 controls, A - 18 controls, B - 15 controls, C - 12 controls, D - 8 controls, walk - as many as you can visit within 1 hour.
COVID safe control visits: This is a MapRun event, with no control plates out. Use of the MapRun6 app is highly preferred, but there is the option to navigate and self time the course if needed. The MapRun event name is: "Forde OACT Dec 2022 SA".

ENTRY: Pre-entry on Eventor via the season pass or individual event entry is strongly recommended.
1. Season Pass. Covers up to 12 events in the October-December season with a 40% discount compared to individual event entry. Adults $33, juniors (15-19) $20, juniors under 15 are free but must still register. Register here: https://eventor.orienteering.asn.au/Events/Show/17885
2. Pre-entry to individual events via Eventor. Entries close midday Monday. Adults $5, juniors (15-19) $3, juniors under 15 are free but must still register.
3. Enter at the event from 5pm to 6:15pm on Monday. Free to first time orienteers and children under 15. Adults $5, juniors (15-19) $3, juniors under 15 are free but must still register. Cash only, please bring exact change.
