PLEASE SEE THE NOTE BELOW THAT THIS IS A MAP RUN EVENT. ACT MIDWEEK SERIES
The ACT mid-week series comprises low-key orienteering events held each Wednesday lunchtime mostly in Canberra Nature Parks. Everyone is welcome, just turn up, no requirement to book or notify anyone before the event.
Courses are about 3km and 5km in length of moderate navigation difficulty. During school holidays we will also have an easy navigation course. NOTE to Schools and groups: Please advise beforehand so we can ensure we have enough maps.
Start anytime between 12 noon and 1pm. You must return by 2pm.
ASSEMBLY:
Park at the end of dirt track off Sulwood Drive (east bound only) just before the intersection with Erindale Drive. Start/finish at the gate into the reserve, opposite the Erindale Drive underpass.
COURSES:
Moderate 1 (4.4km), Moderate 2 (3.3km).
This is a MapRun only course, no control flags will be out. Participants will need to have the MapRun6 app installed on their phone (or MapRunG on their Garmin watch), and select the correct course, being either: "Farrer Ridge OACT Sept 2021 Mod1" or "Farrer Ridge OACT Sept 2021 Mod2" (noting this event was held over from last year, hence the old date). Printed maps will be available at the assembly area. Event organiser Lawrie Brown will be at the event assembly to assist participants in MapRun6.

ENTRIES Two entry options are available:
1. Online entry to individual events, via Eventor (preferred). Adults $10, juniors $7. Entries close at 12pm on the day of each event.
2. Enter on the day at the event, adults $10, juniors $7. Cash only, exact change required.
