Entry Policies and guidelines

Pre-entry is required by the set deadline for all Oceania and Australian Championship classes and for the midweek Riverina Run 3-days events.

Class

Please check you have your preferred Class in your Eventor profile, and carefully check/select it on the Entry page for each event as you enter.

Club

Please check that you are associated with your preferred Club when you enter, as some people have multiple clubs and/or associations.

SI number

Please check you have your correct SI number (SIAC or SI stick) in your Eventor profile. Carefully check the number on the Entry page for each event as you enter, noting that you may be bringing a different SI number to this Carnival than your usual club running SI number.

Sport Ident Active Cards (SIAC)

This year Oceania is looking to mirror events of similar standing on the international calendar by supplying competitors with access to 21st century technology support for both competition timing and scoring displays. Live results, video and tracking will be provided both on-site and on-line via the Carnival website and smartphone apps.

As part of this technology package, the SI Air (SPORTIdent Active Card or SIAC) feature will be activated on control units for all events in the Carnival in a ‘mixed punching’ mode. This means that SIAC sticks can be used in a faster touchless punching mode, and regular SI sticks can be used in a normal tag/insert manner.

There is no requirement to have an SIAC stick to participate in the events – regular SI sticks will work in their normal mode at all events. Please ensure you use your preferred SI number (SIAC or SI stick) when completing Eventor entries.

SIAC Card hire

SIAC (SI Air) sticks will be available to hire at $5.50 for an individual Oceania/Australian Championships event, or for $12 for the whole Carnival (8 events). To request a hire of a SIAC Card please

If you would like to buy a SIAC / SI stick, contact Colin Price at Aussie O Gear, the Australian distributor, via www.aussieogear.com
