Canberra Cockatoos Success Continues

Canberra Cockatoos continue to enjoy success in the national orienteering competitions, with Matt Crane (Senior Men), Olle Poland (Junior Men) and Jacqui Doyle (Junior Women) (pictured in Qld colours; photo by John Harding) winning their divisions of Stage 5 of the SILVA National Series at Stanthorpe.  Crane from Great Britain and Doyle from Queensland are proving to be valuable recruits for the Cockatoos.  For the second successive day the Cockatoos won the double in the Men’s divisions of the SILVA National League. The Senior men’s team have a perfect record for 2012, having all of the first five stages. Sunday’s stage will be a Long Distance race at Dalveen, 40 km north-west of Warwick. Placings for Stage 5:
