Event Notes

The ACT mid-week series is a low key orienteering event held each Wednesday lunch mostly in Canberra Nature Park. Everyone is welcome, just turn up, no requirement to book or notify anyone before the event.

Courses are about 3km and 5m in length of moderate navigation difficulty. During school holidays we will also have an easy navigation course. NOTE to Schools and groups: Please advise beforehand so we can ensure we have enough maps.

Enter-On-The-Day. Start anytime between 12 noon and 1pm. You must return by 2pm. Entry fees are $10 adult and $7 juniors. Cash payment only.

ASSEMBLY: Chauvel Crescent, Campbell, 100m south east of intersection with Vasey Crescent.

PARKING: On north side of Chauvel Cres and Holmes Cres. If it's full park on one side of nearby Vasey and Gellibrand Streets. Vasey (west side only), permitted between 11am and 2pm.

COURSES: Orange 1 (4.6km), Orange 2 (2.5km). A special map without tracks and fences will also be available for both courses.
