DIRECTIONS: From Queanbeyan take the Kings Highway east towards Bungendore. Turn left on Sparrow Hill Road (sign marked Kowen Forest, 9km from the roundabout on the corner of Yass Road and the Kings Highway in Queanbeyan). Follow this road for a futher 2km to its end. Turn left through the gate at the end of Sparrow Hill Road onto Orchard Road and park as directed.
COURSES: Red 1 (8.0km), Red 2 (7.1km), Red 3 (5.3km), Red 4 (4.3km), Red 5 (3.0km), Orange 1 (4.3km), Orange 2 (3.8km), Green (2.0km), Blue (1.9km).
COURSE SETTER'S NOTES: The start is a 600m walk from the assembly area. Most courses have one or two legs with blackberry bushes so come prepared. In some parts of the map the vegetation boundaries cannot be relied on, particularly the smaller ones in the pine forest. Be aware mountain bike tracks may have changed. Marked crossings are not compulsory, but may be helpful.
Entry Fees: member adult $10, member junior $7. non-member adult $15, non-member junior $10. Hire of sportident card $5.
Note: EFTPOS payment will not be available at this event, cash only.
Starts between 10am & 12pm. Course Closure 2pm.
