The ACT Mid-week series is a low key orienteering event held each Wednesday lunch mostly in Canberra Nature Park. Everyone is welcome. Courses are about 3km and 5km and are easy-medium navigation difficulty. Just turn up, no requirement to book ahead.
Enter-on-the-day. Start anytime between 12 noon and 1pm and be back by 2pm. Entry fees are $10 adult and $7 for junior & concessions.
Assembly: New assembly area. The assembly area is adjacent to Ida West Street, Bonner. Park in Ida West Street or Lucy Beeton Crescent on the opposite side of the street from the houses, then follow the footpath up the hill east of Ida West Street to a picnic shelter. Note: Take care when driving through the roadworks at the junction of Horse Park Drive and Mulligans Flat Road, as the turnoff may not be obvious.
