Assembly: Sculpture Gardens at the National Gallery, corner of Queen Elizabeth Terrace and Parkes Place East.
Parking: There is street parking on both Queen Elizabeth Terrace and Parkes Place East, but this might fill up fast so orienteers should allow sufficient time to park near the John Gorton Building (king Edward Terrace and Parkes Place East), about 5 minutes walk away. There is undercover parking at the National Gallery but you might have to pay!
Everyone is welcome. Course A: visit any 18 out of 20 controls. Course B: visit any 15 out of 20 controls. Course C: visit any 12 out of 20 controls. Couse D: visit any 8 out of 20 controls. Power walker: visit as many controls as possible in 60 minutes. Distance of courses ranges from about 3km up to 8km.
Just turn up – no need to book ahead or notify anyone beforehand. Briefing is at about 6.10pm Mass start at 6.15pm. Must be back by 7.15pm. Cost is $5. Can participate individually or in small friendship or family groups (teams).
