ASSEMBLY: Park at northern end of Hannah Place, Deakin.
Nearest public toilets: Deakin shopping centre (about 150m)
Dog alert at Deakin: the grass parkland at the start/finish and west for 400 metres has 3 corner Jack thorns which are very painful to the feet of dogs. They also stick in the soles of your shoes. Stick to the concrete footpath through the parkland.
