Upcoming Blue Lightning Training

Regular winter training is run at the Saturday Junior League events. Training will be run at 9am from the event location unless noted otherwise. Some training will also be held at Sunday events.

Cake Stalls

All members of the ACT team are encouraged to assist running the cake stall. Jodie Evans has organised the roster. Please contact her if you are able to help and not already on the roster. 

New Blue Lightning O-Shirts

New Blue Lightning shirts have been ordered.  The cost of these will be subsidised - we will advise exact pricing when this becomes known. 

ASOC Selection Events

The Australian Schools Orienteering Championships will be held in the Australian Capital Territory in 2013. The ACT Secondary Schools Team will participate in the Schools Championships and the races of the Australian Championships.If you are turning at least 12 years old this year and attend an ACT School (public or private), then you are welcome to trial for the team. 

The four selection trials will be:

• Saturday 25 May - Campbell Park 
• Sunday 2 June - Kowen East
• Sunday 23 June - Orroral Crossing
• Saturday 29 June - Mt Majura West 

 Expressions of interest must be submitted by the 18th of May
